Professor Alan Wigg
Professor Alan Wigg is an experienced gastroenterologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in both Australia and internationally. He has worked internationally in gastroenterology and hepatology in both Birmingham, UK and Rome, Italy and speaks Italian. He is a both a senior consultant for Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (Flinders and Noarlunga Medical Centres) and a Professor at Flinders University.
He has a broad range of interests and can provide both consultation and endoscopic services across the full range of gastroenterological disorders.
He is certified in colonoscopy by the Gastroenterology Society of Australia with a high adenoma detection rate, 16% above his peers.
Associate Professor Kate Muller
Associate Professor Muller has over 15 years experience in gastroenterology and hepatology, having trained in both Adelaide and Scotland. She is a current Staff Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre. Dr Muller is an active member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, where she has been a member of the Australian Liver Association committee and Liver Faculty. She provides consultation for a wide range of gastroenterological disorders, provides endoscopic procedures (upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy), and is recognised by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr Fadak Mohammadi
Dr Fadak Mohammadi holds accreditation in gastroscopy and colonoscopy from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia. She consults on a broad range of gastroenterological issues such as functional gut disoders, colorectal cancer prevention, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, coeliac disease and liver diseases. She has recently returned from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, having completed a year of fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology. She is part of the no gap scheme for privately insured patients, and is an advocate for accessing healthcare for women who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
