SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM

Colonoscopy
This colonic surveillance program is for people at risk of developing colorectal cancer, including people with polyps, a long term history of inflammatory bowel disease or those who have a personal or family history of colorectal cancer.
 
Endoscopy
This endoscopic program has been developed to coordinate and manage surveillance for people at risk of developing oesophageal cancer.

If you are required to have a follow up procedure you will be advised shortly after your procedure (a copy of this letter will be sent to your GP) with the date for your follow up - i.e. 2 years, 5 years.  
3 months before your follow up procedure is due you will be contacted (with copy to your GP) to arrange your follow up
